The CEO is seeking a true business partner to act as a senior member of the leadership team and help enact the transformational vision they have for the company. Besides a candidate with a good sense of humour, the CEO is seeking a professional with strong private sector experience, who will act as a partner and advocate in the role.

Position responsibilities 

• providing senior strategic support 
• supporting the transformational vision of the CEO and its implementation across the organisation
• managing a busy diary and ensuring time is spent on key company priorities
• managing all aspects of travel and event arrangements, including conferences, industry events, meetings, corporate hospitality, social and personal functions   
• liaising with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
• preparing agendas, attending meetings, taking notes and circulating minutes
• writing, preparing and formatting reports and presentations 
• adhering to company values and policies at all times
• providing personal administration support where necessary 
• managing any additional ad-hoc duties as requested by the CEO

Qualities you’ll need to succeed

• confidence and experience operating at a senior level within a large organisation
• a self-starter with initiative and the drive to get things done 
• excellent communication skills, including impressive writing abilities 
• ability to anticipate needs and make proactive decisions
• a high level of emotional intelligence, common sense and practicality
• confidence in providing strategic support and insights
• ability to handle a dynamic, fast-paced environment 
• strong IT, calendar management and organisational skills 
• ability to maintain confidentiality
• the right to work in Australia as an Australian citizen or permanent resident
