Our client is the world’s largest independent mining equipment rental business.  This ASX listed business provide tailored and value-creating earthmoving equipment solutions to the mining industry.  The company has operations in all key mining regions of Australia and their customers include mining companies and contractors across coal, gold, copper, bauxite and iron ore.

About the position

The dynamic CEO requires a career EA who is highly experienced in providing high-end administrative support within a fast paced and ever-changing environment.  The role requires a top performing executive assistant who has a true understanding of working as a business partner with their CEO.  You will be highly driven, motivated, efficient, and well presented. Your organisational and gatekeeping skills will ensure your CEO maintains focus, productivity, and efficiency in a demanding and fast-paced workplace. This CEO travels often, so travel management skills are absolutely essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management of complex diary/calendar/conflicting schedule
  • Email management
  • High level administrative support including correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Managing complex travel arrangements including domestic, international 
  • Arranging meetings
  • Stakeholder management and liaison
  • Meetings and minutes
  • Special projects as required
  • Personal errands as required

To be successful you must have:

  • Minimum 6 years supporting C-suite executive
  • Must be able to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred mining/construction experience but not essenital
  • Available to your executive with a demanding and ever-changing schedule – this is a must
  • Proactive & forward thinking
  • Ability to anticipate needs of a high-level executive
  • Previous experience managing complex travel, time zones, logistics
  • Strong organisational and co-ordinating abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Prioritising
  • Outstanding communication and presentation
  • Adaptable
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Friendly, bubbly, and outgoing personality
  • Stable work history
  • Ability to work autonomously and with limited direction
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
