About the position
This exciting role offers genuine autonomy within a hybrid working model, based in a highly motivated and energetic team. The Executive Chair is seeking a driven self-starter to support them in managing their busy schedule and communication needs. Bringing your business acumen and previous experience within the financial market sector, you will help your leader and executive team in meeting their strategic goals.
You are highly discreet, capable of independent judgement, and can confidently manage complex stakeholder relationships with business leaders, the media, and shareholders. Demonstrating previous experience in managing investor relations, exemplary communication skills, trustworthiness, and a positive attitude, you will be an asset to your Executive Chair, aiding him in achieving desired outcomes.
Superior attention to detail, digital savvy, and astute relationship management will ensure your success in this role. Your ability to cope with pressure, to be flexible and authentic, will be well regarded and rewarded accordingly.
Position responsibilities
manage the diary of the CEO, including arranging meeting logistics as required
coordinate travel arrangements for the CEO and other members of the leadership team
event planning and execution
assist the executive team with preparation of media and shareholder communications
monitor and drive initiatives for and on behalf of the leadership team as required
capture and record actions, ideas, projects and reference material from notes, meetings, emails and phone calls
adherence to company values and policies at all times
manage any additional ad-hoc duties as requested by the Executive Chair

strong IT, calendar management, and organisational skills
Preferred skills and experience
minimum 7 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant within a demanding environment, actively supporting the leadership team and/or senior levels of management
experience within an ASX-listed company
previous responsibility in managing investor relations highly regarded
a background in the resources sector would be highly regarded
have full rights to work in Australia
