About the position 

Our highly discerning CEO needs a senior-level executive assistant with impressive experience supporting a similarly high-ranking CEO. To succeed in this role, you will be highly organised, experienced and confident dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders. Working in a fast-paced environment in an enviable Melbourne CBD location, you will be given opportunity to demonstrate your exemplary ability to be productive, professional and flexible in the role. 

This position offers plenty of scope to provide senior-level executive support and offer that true business partner support. Your organisational and gatekeeping skills will ensure your CEO maintains focus, productivity and efficiency in a demanding and fast-paced workplace. This CEO travels often, so travel management skills are essential. 

Position responsibilities

  • managing the CEO’s diary, gatekeeping numerous daily requests to maximise productivity  
  • preparing agendas, attending meetings, taking notes and preparing minutes
  • writing, preparing and formatting reports and presentations 
  • managing travel arrangements both national and international
  • Stakeholder management
  • adhering to company values and policies at all times
  • managing any additional ad-hoc duties as requested by, the CEO

Preferred knowledge, skills and experience

  • previous experience as EA to CEO of a leading Australian company will be highly valued (regardless of industry)
  • strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • experience managing domestic and international travel
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • highly proficient with Microsoft Office
  • the right to work in Australia as an Australian citizen or permanent resident
