PA to Managing Director
The Role
We are seeking a high performing PA to support the Managing Director of successful global business within the events industry. You will provide outstanding administrative and secretarial support in this right-hand position. Newly created position where no two days are the same and the pace is fast.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Diary management
- Email management
- Drafting emails, correspondence and reports on behalf of the MD
- Extensive travel management both domestic and international
- Stakeholder management
- Arranging meetings both face to face and virtual in different timezones
- Working closely with the business development teams and operations team assisting where required with delivery of sales pitches and delivery
- Attending meetings with the MD
- Minutes of meetings including agendas
- Special projects as directed by the MD
- Liaising with suppliers, clients on behalf of the MD
- Internal event management ie dinner/lunch reservations, team building, team dinners etc
- Managing some aspects of the MDs personal life
- Some interstate travel as required
- General admin duties as required
To be successful you will need:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience supporting a leader of a medium sized business
- Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Bubbly and outgoing personality
- Highly organised
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding presentation and communication
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Strong Word, Powerpoint and excel skills a must
- Events industry or similar industry ie marketing/digital
