Personal/Executive Assistant to MD

The role
We’re seeking a confident, experienced Personal/Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director of a leading Australian company within the retail sector. This role will see you assist the MD both with their business and personal objectives. Dynamic leader and environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide high level personal/executive support operating with discretion and confidentiality
Email management
Diary and calendar management/scheduling
Travel arrangements both interstate and international and travelling with the MD when required
Event management including functions, meetings, dinners, lunches including catering and venue selection
Proactively assessing the MDs requirements
Meeting attendance and organization including agendas, minutes, action items, papers etc
Liaising and managing relationships with direct reports and wider executive team
Managing access to the MD (gateway/gatekeeping)
Running personal errands including private events/gifts/dinners/lunches/private jet etc
General administrative tasks as required
What you will need to succeed:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting senior executive and/or HNWI/Successful founder/owner
A confident, adaptable and resilient approach
Proactive and initiative
Strong organisational skills
Personable and engaging
Excellent communication and presentation
Bubbly & outgoing personality
Attention to detail and efficient
Positive can-do attitude
Proficient in Microsoft office
Ability to travel both interstate and internationally with the MD (when required & when permitted)
IT Savvy
Understanding the importance of maintaining strictest confidentiality in all business and personal dealings
